Archie Jacobson has been busy putting together a new mix 'The giants of East Rock". Istanbul is a city that straddles East and West and is a fitting place to find psych-rock to blow everyone's mind!
The mix will finaly be out next week just in time for Feridun Avar's world music arvo at The Shire in West End Saturday 12th June 2010. He'll be doing a set here to drum up interest in further free appearances at guitar shops etc (wink wink).
'The giants of East Rock' will feature tracks by Erkin Koray, Baris Manco, Selda Bagcan, and John Berberian. It's loaded with fuzz guitar, electric saz, and psychedelic sounds with a rockin beat!
